Making Some Money with Surveys

Do you participate with any online survey companies? Have you ever wondered if they are worth it?

I have been a member of MySurvey for a little while now and have recently joined Pinecone Research. So far I am happy with both companies. Of course I am not making big money by taking these surveys but every little bit helps! Each company offers something different...some offer cash, gift cards, prizes, entries into sweepstakes drawings, etc. I like the ones that pay out in cash or gift cards.

MySurvey is very user friendly. I find that some weeks I have several survey opportunities and others I have one or two. You will earn points for the "screener" survey to see if you qualify for the main survey and then even more points if you qualify to go on to the main survey. Once you reach 1,000 points you will get paid with a $10 check. You may also have the opportunity to try our product in your home and provide additional feedback. I just received a box last week for a product (it is kept confidential) so I am getting paid, so to speak, with this product that I get to use in my home.

Pinecone Research is a new one for me but I have recently completed my first survey for them and am waiting for both a $3 check for completing the survey, as well as product to try in my home and provide feedback (again, it is confidential). There are other survey companies out there...these are the ones I have some experience with so far. I have heard that Opinion Outpost is also a good, reputable one but I have not signed up with them yet.

I Just Made $5 In 3 Minutes!!

Ok, let me explain...

I made $5 in CVS Extra Care Bucks for taking about 3 minutes of my time to answer a survey for them. I am signed up as a member of the CVS Advisor Panel, where from time to time I am asked to participate in a survey. I then earn CVS Extra Care Bucks as a thank you for my time.

Swagbucks ~ Happy Birthday!!

Way to Earn Extra Money

I think everyone would like to make a little extra money, right? Well, yesterday afternoon I had the opportunity to do that for myself.

I took part in a focus group with 20/20 Research. To thank me for my time and sharing my thoughts and opinions, I was rewarded with a $100 Visa Gift Card...WOW!!!

20/20 Research conducts focus groups for all sorts of different topics and products. The one I participated in was all about evaporated milk. There were 6 of us sitting around the table with a moderator who kept the conversation going about this product...how often do we buy it, use it, how do we use it, etc. We also had the opportunity to give feedback on various ideas the company is considering for a marketing campaign (they didn't tell me I couldn't mention it so I'll tell you it was Carnation...and some of "their people" were sitting behind a one way window listening to our discussion). It was fun and a rather easy way to make a little extra cash.

20/20 Research has offices in a few cities around the country, including right here in Charlotte. If you are interested in doing something like this occasionally to make a little extra money, please visit their website and sign up to be included in their database (click on "Participate In A Study"). This will then get you on the list for receiving emails when they are looking for participants in focus groups.

Keep in mind that they do market research for a wide variety of things and will look for all sorts of people. Compensation will vary but it is a fun, easy way to put a little something extra in your wallet. I'm looking forward to doing more in the future!

Earn Extra Money with Surveys

Have you ever considered answering surveys to earn a little extra cash? There are many companies out there (again, be sure to research to determine it is legitimate) and they are willing to reward you for your opinions.

Pinecone Research is a reputable company that has been around for a long time. Apparently it is not often that they open up their membership registration but they have right now. So, if this is something that interests you I would recommend checking it out and signing up.

Typically Pinecone Research pays $3 per completed survey (they pay via PayPal...that is easy and free to set up if you do not currently have an account) and sometimes they will mail products for you to try at home.

Get Paid For Your Opinion

Yesterday I was selected to take part in a Focus Group for 20/20 Market Research. This will take place next week and I will receive payment for my opinions. Sounds good to me!

There are many companies out there...be sure you research it and determine it is legitimate.

Here is a link to 20/20 Research's website and a form to submit if you are interested in being selected for future studies. They send you an email, you answer a few preliminary questions and then if you make it to the next round they call you with some additional questions. If selected you will take part in the focus group, sharing your opinions, and receive compensation.
